Dilshod Azizov was born in 1974 in Samarkand, and has lived and studied in Saint Petersburg since 2003.

His oil paintings are usually landscape paintings. genre-paintings, or still lifes. Beside painting,
Azizov has worked as a restorer for the last five years. 

Studies

Azizov went to a children's art school in Samarkand since he was nine years old, in 1983. In 1988 he moved to an art institute in Dushanbe and in 1990-92 he did his national service. In 1992 he moved from Dushanbe to the art institute of Samarkand, where he took degree examination as a painter teacher in 1995. From 1999 to 2003 he studied in the national academy of arts and design named after K . Behzod, at the beginning painting and from 2000 art restoration. Since 2003 he has studied in the state academy of visual arts, sculpture and architecture named after Ilya Repin in Saint Petersburg.
