 Anna Lakomskaja was
born in 1978 Leningrad from where she moved to Kemi, Finland in 1988, when she was 10 years old.
Since 1990 she has
lived in Helsinki. Her oil paintings and pencil drawings usually depict
animals and nature, especially horses. The spark to drawing she
got already as a child, and the passion to horses begun through
herriding hobby.
Studies
Lakomskaja begun her studies in 1999 in Alfa-Art art institute, and since 2003 she has studied in the state academy of
visual arts, sculpture and architecture named after Ilya Repin in Saint Petersburg, at the beginning in advanced training of
restoration, and since 2004 in advcanced training of art critic.
